• Colts out of Luck as quarterback faces layoff

LOS ANGELES: Indianapolis Colts star quarterback Andrew Luck faces between two and six weeks on the sidelines after suffering a lacerated kidney in his team’s upset win against the Denver Broncos, team officials said Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila). Luck, who turned in a dazzling performance to stun predecessor Peyton Manning in Sunday’s win, also suffered a partial abdominal muscle tear, the team said. Luck is not expected to require surgery and should make a full recovery, the team said.
