ZAMBOANGA CITY: Councilor Charlie Mariano of this city’s first district stepped down from office after the Commission on Elections (Comelec) affirmed in finality his disqualification.
Lawyer Stephen Roy Cañete, first district election officer, on Tuesday served the Writ of Execution to Mariano during the City Council’s regular session.
