THE National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) on Tuesday is firm in rejecting the government’s proposal to localize peace talks, saying it will only isolate Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founder Jose Maria “Joma” Sison and was a “divide and rule” tactic of the Duterte administration.

In a statement, the NDFP also lashed out at Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana for being “delusional,” thinking that the localized peace talks would be “the key to defeating the armed revolutionary movement.”
