• Concussion sidelines Seattle’s Harvin for playoff

SEATTLE: Seattle Seahawks receiver Percy Harvin will not play in Sunday’s National Football League playoff game against San Francisco because of a head injury, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said on Friday (Saturday in Manila). Carroll said Harvin, who was struck in the head by New Orleans defensive back Rafael Bush last weekend, will not complete the NFL’s concussion safety protocol in time to be able to play for the Seahawks. Harvin, who played the past four seasons for Minnesota, missed 15 games with a hip injury this season and made only one regular-season reception for 17 yards.
