• Construction of medical isolation rooms proposed in Baguio


    BAGUIO CITY: Members of the city council here recently approved on first reading a proposed ordinance appropriating P1 million for the establishment of isolation rooms at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center for patients with infectious diseases. The city council subsequently referred the proposed measure penned by Vice Mayor Edison Bilog to the city council’s committee on health. Bilog said the amount could help in the construction of isolation rooms that are vital in the campaign to prevent the possible spread of the Ebola virus and other dreaded contagious diseases in the country.
