A POLICE officer was killed and three others were wounded after a group of suspected New People’s Army (NPA) rebels stormed a police station in a remote village in Bukidnon province dawn Thrusday, official said.

Senior Supt. Wilben Mayor, Philippine National Police spokesman, quoting reports coming from the field, said that unknown number of NPA rebels—on board seven vehicles—attacked the Kibawe Municipal Police station at about 5 a.m., triggering a firefight between the police and the rebels.
