Court allows Revilla to visit ailing father


The Sandiganbayan’s First Division granted the request of detained former Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. to visit his ailing father, former Sen. Ramon Revilla Sr., at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Bonifacio Global City from 6 to 10 a.m. on June 19 and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 20. The older Revilla, 90, will undergo a medical procedure on Monday. The court further ordered that Revilla’s use of any means of communication and electronic gadgets shall be under the detailed police’s supervision. Media and other news interviews are also not allowed. Revilla Jr. is detained at the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City over plunder and graft charges filed before the Sandiganbayan in connection with the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam.
