• Cultural workers gather in Baguio

June is about to end with the gathering of cultural workers, artists and art critics in Baguio City for the 7th UST J. Elizalde Navarro (JEN) National Seminar-Workshop in the Criticism of the Arts and Humanities, the longest-running workshop of its kind and brainchild of the Varsitarian, University of Santo Tomas’ official student organ.

The week-long semi-academic program seminar-workshop on critical writing in arts and culture studies starts off on June 29 at the Burnham Suites in Baguio.

This year, The Varsitarian collaborates with the UST Research Endowment Foundation, Inc., with partial funding from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, for the JEN workshop.
