Customs seizes Ecstacy tablets at NAIA


Some 2,000 Ecstacy tablets estimated at P3 million were intercepted at the Central Mail Exchange Center of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). Bureau of Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon said the party drugs arrived from Germany on May 7 shipped by Legion Ltd of Germany. District III Collector Edgar Macabeo reported that the prohibited drugs were placed in two plastic sachets wrapped in brown envelope and declared as “vitamins” consigned to a certain Darwin Bernardino of Novaliches, Quezon City.
