BAGUIO CITY: The Department of Agriculture Cordillera has set aside more than P62 million pesos for its mitigation measures to cushion the effects of El Niño in the region.
Lorenzo Caranguian, DA-CAR regional director, said that even as the region is not greatly affected by the dry spell, the agency continues to take precautionary measures for both vulnerable and non-vulnerable areas in the provinces.
