While Sen. Leila de Lima is facing a barrage of allegations, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has cleared her of any knowledge in the unsolved murder of her bodyguard that took place four years ago.
Alister Quintos, a companion of controversial Ronnie Dayan, alleged lover of de Lima, was found dead May 11, 2012 somewhere in Bulacan, hours after he and the security staff had escorted then-Justice Secretary de Lima to her house in Cubao, Quezon City.
