A Malaysian was recently arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) for trying to smuggle 4.6 kilos of cocaine.

The arrest was made possible with the help of the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Office at the US Embassy in Manila. The DEA received information that a traveler aboard a flight from Togo, transiting Addis Ababa, was suspected to be carrying contraband.
