FOUR-peat champion San Beda College Red Lions displayed their full might as they crushed the San Sebastian College-Recoletos Stags, 75-56, on Friday to regain solo leadership in the 90th National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) seniors basketball tournament elimination round at the San Juan Arena in San JuanCity.

What was expected to be close game between the two archrivals turned out to be a resounding win by San Beda. The Red Lions expressed dominance early by posting a 27-7 lead in the first quarter. Anthony Semerad started the blitz with 13 points highlighted by a triple seriously hampering the Stags’ offense. And with 6’8 Ola Adeogun manning the slot, the Red Lions held the Stags to only six-of-33 in the field goal while hitting 15-of-37 in the first half establishing a huge 38-16 lead in the first two quarters.
