ASKED if his firm is more PwC than Isla Lipana, Atty. Alex Cabrera is quick to reply:

“We are internationalists, but our heart is the Philippines.”

There’s no questioning Cabrera’s coronary orientation. PwC Philippines has done more than cheerlead, to champion the country’s cause.

It is set to release Investment Guides to drumbeat six Philippine cities:

    • Creative Cebu
    • Dauntless Davao
    • Inspiring Iloilo
    • Burgeoning Bacolod
    • City of Awe CDO (Cagayan de Oro) and
    • Get Into Gensan (General Santos)

The Investment Guides promote these emerging areas, with regards to their infrastructure, their people—and how they reimagine their places.

Apart from the Investment Guides, PwC has also developed its Philippine Gems program, identifying 10 alternative areas for tourism. The firm has also launched a Developmental Social Entrepreneurship initiative, in those areas.

PwC is throwing their collective brainpower behind these efforts, to create impact locally and internationally.
