MIAMI: Luke Donald, a four-time runner up in the US PGA Tour’s Heritage, pitched in for a birdie at 18 on Friday (Saturday in Manila) to seize a share of the halfway lead alongside Graham DeLaet.

England’s Donald hit just 11 of 18 greens in regulation. But his five birdies included three in a row at the fourth, fifth and sixth.
