IN a move to provide its customers the power to do more, an American computer technology corporation is now offering enterprise solutions and services.
Dell Inc., during its Solutions Tour 2013 that opened on Tuesday, said that from computers, it will now offer strategy and solutions to help solve the most challenging information technology (IT) trends customers face today.
“Today, Dell is better positioned than ever before to deliver innovative, end-to-end solutions,” said Sumir Bhatia, Dell Enterprise Solutions director for South Asia.
He said that Dell’s technology is going to continue to be an integral part of any business.
During the past four years, he added, Dell has invested more than $10 billion to deliver innovative and high-performing end-to-end solutions to better support the evolving needs of their customers.
“We are investing to help our customers be successful and secure in a world being transformed by the forces of cloud, big data and mobility,” he added.
Dell anticipates customer’s technology priorities as categorized into transform, connect, inform and protect.
It also announced that more and more customers worldwide rely on its technology solutions and services since the company embarked on its transformation over four years ago.
Transform means increasing IT agility while lowering costs, and this is effectively achieved through cloud computing.
Connect focuses on increasing productivity by enabling the next generation workforce to work securely from anywhere, anytime and on any device.
In form, Dell will see a focus on big data, storage and analytics.
Meanwhile, protect refers to protection from organized attacks to everyday behaviors of employees that unknowingly enable cyber theft.
