COTABATO CITY: A Philippine Army instructor died while nine trainees were wounded when a fragmentation grenade accidentally exploded during a grenade handling demonstration at the Army Reserve Command in Barangay Asinan, Buayan town in General Santos City on Monday.
Supt. Romeo Galgo Jr, Police Regional Office 12, said Technical Sergeant Pableo Balansag, was holding a grenade in front of trainees when the grenade accidentally exploded causing his death.
