THE Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced on Monday that its consular offices would be closed during the holidays.
There will be no transactions on December 25 (Monday), 26 (Tuesday) and 30 (Saturday) and January 1 (Monday) and 2 (Tuesday).
This means that there will be no passport online appointments scheduled on these dates.
Walk-in applicants may proceed to the DFA Consular Office of their choice before or after these dates.
The DFA also reminded passport applicants that they would be charged P1,200 if their papers were processed on Saturdays as this a service provided beyond the regular work schedule. JEFFERSON ANTIPORDA
