Prices of diesel and kerosene will go down beginning at 12:01 a.m. today.
Pilipinas Shell and Seaoil will reduce diesel prices by 40 centavos per liter and kerosene by 35 centavos per liter.
Phoenix Petroleum will cut its diesel price by 45 centavos per liter effective 6 a.m. Tuesday.
There will be no adjustment in the prices of gasoline, however.
Chevron and Petron said they will also slash the prices of diesel and kerosene.
The militant Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operators Nationwide (Piston) said the 40-centavo price cut is not enough.
Piston president George San Mateo said the rollback will not have any effect on drivers.
San Mateo added that his group will continue to appeal for the scrapping of the Oil Deregulation Law and ask the government to implement a P6 discount for public utility vehicles or PUVs.
