TWO oil companies will increase their prices today, the first for the month of October.
Pilipinas Shell and Petron Philippines on Monday announced that they would raise prices of diesel by 35 centavos per liter while cutting the price of gasoline products by 55 centavos per liter.
The price of kerosene will not be adjusted.
Petron said the adjustments are based on the price movements in the international world market.
Last September 28, companies said they will slash prices of diesel and kerosene by 60 centavos per liter. They already cut the price of diesel by 90 centavos per liter, kerosene by P1 per liter and gasoline, 70 centavos per liter on September 23.
