OIL companies are set to roll back prices of diesel but will raise gasoline prices.
In separate advisories on Monday, they said they will cut diesel prices by 50 centavos per liter.
There will be reduction of 45 centavos per liter for kerosene prices.
The oil companies will increase gasoline prices by 40 to 50 centavos per liter.
The latest price adjustments will take effect between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
Among the oil firms that implemented the price adjustment are Pilipinas Shell, Chevron Philippines (Caltex), Petron Philippines, Seaoil, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, PTT Philippines, Eastern Petroleum, Flying V and Total Philippines.
This week’s new prices were caused by movement in prices of refined petroleum products in the world market.
Last week, the oil firms also increased gasoline prices by 30 to 35 centavos per liter.
Diesel prices rose by 10 to 15 centavos per liter.
