A 30-year-old disk jockey who doubles as a drug dealer was arrested by anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a buy-bust operation in Baguio City on June 5. PDEA Director Gen. Undersecretary Arturo Cacdac Jr. identified the suspect as Nhexie Canillas y Cinco, single, of number 291 Lower Cabinet Hill, Baguio City. At about 10:30 p.m., joint operatives of PDEA-Regional Office 1 under the direct supervision of Director Jeoffrey Tacio; and PDEA-Cordillera Administrative Region under Director Ronald Allan Ricardo conducted a buy-bust operation within the vicinity of Nevada Square, Military Cut-Off, Baguio City which resulted in the arrest of Canillas. “Canillas was a disk jockey in several bars in Nevada Square, Baguio City,” Cacdac said. “He was arrested after selling 20 pieces of red pills suspected to be Ecstasy to an undercover PDEA agent,” he added.
