To show gratitude for a successful 2013, The Discovery Leisure Company Inc. (TDLCI) held an appreciation party for their corporate bookers and travel trade partners on March 7 at the Aracama Restaurant and Bar in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
As of the present, the hotel and resorts group manages the Discovery Suites in the Ortigas Business District, Discovery Shores Boracay and Discovery Country Suites, as well as the newly acquired Club Paradise in Coron, Palawan, and the Discovery Primea, a 68-storey luxury residences and hotel in Makati Business District.
Company officials and hotel executives, led by TDLCI chief operating officer Jun Parreño, played hospitable hosts to their clients. Joining him were Discovery Suites General Manager Leeds Trompeta, Discovery Shores Boracay Resident Manager Seng Teodoro and Director of Sales and Marketing Joy de Noga, and Discovery Country Suites Resident Manager Jonahs Virrey and Assistant Director of Sales Rhea Rolda.
Also in attendance were the hotel executives of TLDCI’s new properties like David Pardo de Ayala and Anna Fernandez, general manager and director of sales and marketing, respectively, of Discovery Primea set to open in mid-2014. Coming all the way from Palawan was Joegil Escobar, the resident manager of Club Paradise.
Celebrity sportsman Marc Nelson was the host of the evening’s short program that honored the Top 10 producers in rooms, banquets and travel trade clients. Actress and comedienne Ruffa Mae Quinto spiced up the evening with her funny antics onstage while musical entertainment were provided by singers Kyla and Erik Santos.
Before the events came to close, TDLCI also unveiled its latest promotion campaign, “Visit Discovery 2014.”
