Djokovic thumps Murray anew

Novak Djokovic posted a 7-6 (7/3), 4-6, 6-0 triumph over Andy Murray in the finals of the Miami Open. The victory is the Serb’s seventh straight win against the Scot. Murray moved into third spot of the ATP rankings published on Monday as Rafael Nadal slipped back two places to fifth, his worst position in two years. Djokovic consolidated his place atop the rankings, more than 4,000 points (the equivalent of two Grand Slam victories) ahead of Switzerland’s Roger Federer, with Japan’s Kei Nishikori in fourth.
