Former Mayor Danilo Leyble of Antipolo City and six others on Tuesday announced that the Department of Justice (DOJ) had dropped the murder charges against them in connection with the killing of alleged gunman in the failed assassination attempt on Mayor Casimiro Jun Ynares 3rd of Antipolo City and his father, former Gov. Caismiro “Ito” Ynares of Rizal.
A seven-page resolution shown by Leyble which was signed by Associate Prosecutor Edgar Mamia, also acquitted Alfredo Cunanan Garcia, Danilo Aquino,Ricky Reyes, Tintin Garcia, former Vice Mayor Ronaldo Leyva and lawyer Andrei Zapanta.
