The Department of Justice (DOJ) has dismissed the motion for reconsideration (MR) filed by United States Navy Lance Corporal Joseph Scott Pemberton in connection with the murder case on the death of Jeffrey “Jennifer” Laude in Olongapo City on Oct. 11, 2014.
In a nine-page resolution signed by Justice Secretary Leila M. De Lima and promulgated on Feb. 20, 2015, the DOJ denied the MR filed by Pemberton for lack of merit.
