CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga: The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regional office here will assess some 235 firms, with contractors and subcontractors, operating in Central Luzon to stop contractualization in the region.
Lawyer Ana Dione, DOLE regional director, issued the directive in line with the marching order of Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello 3rd pursuant to President Rodrigo Duterte’s mandate to eliminate what is known as “endo” or end of contract and other prohibited labor practices.
