• DOST’s Food Innovation Centers gaining ground


    BICUTAN, Taguig City: A training program on the operation and maintenance of technology solution for local food processors was conducted by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). The activity was focused on five High Impact Technology Solution (HITS) food processing equipment: the water retort, vacuum fryer, spray dryer and the latest additions, which are the freeze dryer and vacuum packaging machine. The participants were personnel from DOST regions 2, 4A, 4B, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and National Capital Region Food Innovation Center managers and operators.
