The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the P43 million access road to augment tourism in Tondol White Sand Beach in Pangasinan. Funded by the Department of Tourism under a convergence program, it involved concrete paving of Poblacion-San Jose-Namagbagan-Imbo-Tondol Road leading to Tondol Beach, also known as the “Boracay of the North.” Its completion now makes travel to the northern tip of Anda, Pangasinan more convenient. To further increase the tourism potential of Agno, Pangasinan, the DPWH is also undertaking the construction of an access road leading to Umbrella Rocks and Abagatanen Beach. Initial improvement on Poblacion-Sabangan Road was also completed by Pangasinan 1st District Engineering Office amounting to P46.6 million.
