LEGAZPI CITY: The Office of the Ombudsman has ordered the dismissal of a Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) official and his former staff in Iloilo City connected with the alleged bidding scam of a P9-million Iloilo-Jaro Diversion road project in 2009.
The DPWH personnel dismissed by the anti-graft body are Masbate 2nd district engineer Teodoro Castillo and Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) chairman Roby Lagoc, BAC member and construction chief Joemar Nepomuceno, maintenance section chief Nestor Molato, and planning and design section chief Jonathan Dublas.
