Anyone with a zest for discovering exciting new flavors can be considered a foodie nowadays. This is what TV host Drew Arellano considers himself, which is why he is so excited to have been chosen to join a roster of professional chefs in new program on GMA News TV dubbed Home Foodie.
“The dishes we will demonstrate are masarap, masusustansya at kayang-kaya using San Miguel Purefoods products,” promised the ever bubbly and energetic celebrity at the show’s launch this week at the GMA Network headquarters.
He further guaranteed that Home Foodie will not only appeal to women but the male audience too.
“We want men to cook and to be active in the kitchen,” Drew added.
Home Foodie viewers are expected to learn new twists, tips and techniques in food preparation with the experts from the food manufacturing company’s culinary center, namely Chefs Llena Tan-Arcenas, Rene Ruz and RJ Garcia.
Home Foodie premieres August 10 and will air weekday mornings after Unang Hirit on GMA News TV. It will also have a portion within Balitanghali on GMA in the weekends.
