The body of a drowned 40-year-old woman was found at the river in Barangay Dipangit, Jones town at about 11:14 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police Supt. Manuel Bringas, Isabela police operations chief, said the body of Benny Labio, 40, of Masaya Sur in San Agustin town was found floating by rescuers and volunteers from the 86th Infantry Battalion, Jones and San Agustin police. It was brought to the Cadiz funeral parlor in San Agustin town.
The woman, who was caught on footage while actually being engulfed by strong water current when her nipa hut was swept away, was reported missing during the onslaught of typhoon Labuyo Tuesday.
