More and more suspected drug traders were killed in shoot-outs with authorities — two alleged couriers in Bataan and two others in Bulacan.
Bataan police director Senior Supt. Benjamin Silo said Ali Abubacar of Quiapo, Manila and an unidentified companion died in their rented house in Barangay Old San Jose in Dinalupihan town when their group engaged the operatives in a gun fight.
The target leader of the group – Warly Castillo, alleged leader of the notorious Warly Castillo group of Mariveles town – managed to escape.
Arrested in the same operation was their woman companion, Bulawan Palao, also of Quiapo, Manila.
Police recovered from the crime scene several firearms of various calibers, sachets of ‘shabu,’ drug paraphernalia and the marked money.
Meanwhile, Bulacan Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., said Nicky Noel Villanueva of Barangay Pinaod, San Ildefonso town and Aldwin Salvador were killed after they fired at a team of policemen about to effect a search warrant in their reported drug den.
Caramat said that the slain suspects were in the police drug watch list.
Several magazines and live ammunitions, sachets of ‘shabu,’ drug paraphernalia and aluminum foil were found in the crime scene.
In Plaridel town, Police Supt. Andrew Aguirre, said Aldwin Salvador, No. 2 in the police list of Top 10 Drug Personalities, also died when he engaged policemen in a shoot out.
His companion, Ahren Santos, was arrested in the same operation.
