• Drug lords told to leave San Juan City

SAN Juan City (Metro Manila) Vice Mayor Janella Ejercito-Estrada challenged suspected drug dealers and drug syndicates to leave the city and stop their illicit activities. Estrada, daughter of detained Senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada, said she will go harder against drug lords and their protectors. The neophyte local politician, head the city’s anti-drug abuse council, said the fight against illegal drug use is one of the key advocacies of the city government. Recently, at least 180 confessed drug users and pushers have turned themselves in to the city government. Eight of those who surrendered, she said, were sent to a rehabilitation center in Taguig City.
