A couple allegedly selling illegal drugs was arrested by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation on Thursday evening in Pasig City.

Marcos Cataneda Jr., 42, and his pregnant wife Alma, 35, were presented to the media yesterday at the NBI headquarters in Manila.

On the strength of a search warrant, operatives arrested the duo in their house after almost two months of surveillance, according to NBI Spokesman Ferdinand Lavin.

The couple admitted that they turned their house into a drug den.

Alma said although she is pregnant, her husband would force her to take shabu before having sex or he would also have sex with her sister. She admitted that there were times when their male customers would have sex with her 19-year-old daughter.

Operatives confiscated videos of the couple while having drug sessions, sachets of shabu, lighters, aluminum foils and candles.

The couple was charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Alma will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development for proper counseling.
