THE Philippine Army opened a two-hectare drug rehabilitation facility inside Camp Datu Lipus in Barangay Awa, Prosperidad in Agusan del Sur recently. Col. Benjamin Hao, Army spokesman, said the Residential Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (RTRC) facility is in support of the anti-illegal drug campaign of President Rodrigo Duterte. The one-story renovated building has living quarters, dining area, staff house and clinics with basketball court, surrounded by tall to medium grown trees and foliage. It can accommodate 60 patients at a time and will be managed and administered by the provincial government of Agusan del Sur. The camp sitting on 334 hectares is home to the Army’s 401st Infantry Division.
