Another drug suspect who allegedly opened fire at operatives during a buy-bust was killed on Monday morning in Quezon City. Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar identified the slain suspect only as alias “Jomer,” about 25 to 26 years old, about 5’5” tall, with fair complexion, of medium build wearing short pants and white t-shirt. He is a known drug pusher in the area of Fairview Police Station 5. Eleazar said a poseur buyer negotiated to buy P300 worth of shabu from the suspect at about 2:30 a.m. along Elgin Street in Barangay Greater Fairview. “Jomer” allegedly sensed that he was dealing with a police officer and opened fired. Other lawmen who form part of the back-up team shot back, killing the suspect. Chief Insp. Mary Grace Alvarez, scene of the crime operatives head, said recovered from the suspect were a caliber 9mm pistol with live ammunition, six heat sealed sachets of shabu and the buy-bust money.
