The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the dry season will last until the second week of June.
”The hot season might reach until the second week of June,” weather forecaster Gladys Saludes said on Saturday.
She said the country will have cooler temperatures soon as it transitions from the dry to wet season.
Saludes said there will be no typhoons right away even with the onset of the rainy season.
From May 1 to 20 this year, PAGASA observed that Luzon had a rainfall of 51-100 milimeters (mm), most of Visayas had 25-50 mm, while Mindanao had 25-200 mm.
