COTABATO CITY, Maguindanao: The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD-ARMM) has launched Apat Dapat program, an anti-poverty initiative that will focus on 600 of the region’s poorest families. DSWD-ARMM Secretary Rahima Alba said it will focus on the basic needs of every family – food, lighting and water and sanitation, and shelter. Technical assistance was provided by the World Food Program (WFP) to ensure sustainability of the food security program, with input from the World Bank (WB), a consistent partner of ARMM in poverty alleviation.
