Due to the continuous restiveness of the volcano, which has an alert level 3 status, some 4,742 families or 21,092 individuals from the municipalities of Camalig, Daraga, Guinobatan, Malilipot, Ligao and Tabaco City are now staying at 18 evacuation centers as of 4 a.m.
DSWD has already provided P735,172 worth of assorted food and non-food items to the province.
The DSWD Field Office in Bicol has 2,000 family packs ready for distribution. The office also has standby funds amounting to P5.1 million for the purchase of emergency relief supplies.
Moreover, some 119,726 assorted food items worth P4 million and other non-food items worth P14.8 million are being earmarked and are ready to augment resources of local government units (LGUs), if needed.
