DTI FREEZES PRICES OF BASIC COMMODITIES IN BATAAN

BALANGA CITY: The Department of Trade and Industry on Thursday announced the freezing of prices of basic and prime commodities in Bataan which was placed under the state of calamity due to Typhoon Glenda. DTI provincial director Nelin Cabahug said the price freeze that will last for 60 days cover basic commodities such as milk, coffee, sugar, candles, bread, salt, canned fish and noodles, and prime commodities like flour, vinegar, processed and canned pork, toilet soap, batteries and bulbs and construction materials.
