THE Department of Trade and Industry’s Philippine Accreditation Bureau (DTI-PAB) and the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) will sign in Makati City on Thursday an agreement to boost halal exports to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In a statement, DTI said once the memorandum of understanding on the exports is signed, “PAB-accredited halal certification bodies are automatically recognized in the UAE,” it added.
