The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is set to launch a three-day handicraft fair as a follow-up to the successful food fair that the department organized last month. The fair, titled “Sikat Pinoy National Handicrafts Fair,” will be held from September 19 to 22 at the SM Megatrade Hall in Mandaluyong City. It is the latest project of the DTI under its Sikat Pinoy brand and comes after the Sikat Pinoy National Food Fair, which was held from August 21 to 25 where around 250 micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises from all over the country participated. The food fair generated an estimated P15 million in revenues. “This is the second edition of DTI’s national domestic trade fairs under our newly introduced Sikat Pinoy brand,” said DTI Undersecretary for Trade and Investment Promotions Ponciano Manalo Jr.
