STA. ROSA, Laguna: President Rodrigo Durterte gave members of an urban poor group until noontime on Friday to leave a government socialized housing project in Rizal, which it forcibly occupied on Wednesday.
Speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of newly elected barangay captains in Mimaropa (Region 4-A), an irate Duterte ordered law enforcement to evict members of Kadamay who staked their claim on these unoccupied houses in Barangay San Isidro in Rodriguez. Mimaropa is Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan.
