PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has appointed a fellow Mindanaoan, Saidamen Pangarungan, as the new head of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos.
Pangarungan's appointment papers, dated July 10, were released by the Palace on Wednesday. He will serve as secretary of the commission for two years.
