President Rodrigo Duterte has given his go-signal for the guiding framework for localized peace talks, Malacañang said on Thursday, after the resumption of talks with the communist rebels was postponed.

In a news conference, Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said Duterte presided a special cluster meeting with the Security, Justice and Peace Cabinet Cluster, where a seven-point guideline on the localized peace negotiations was approved.
