The pollster said the President’s trust and approval ratings are at a high 83 percent.

He is followed by Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo and Senate President Aquilino Pimentel 3rd. Only five percent distrust the President while the rest were undecided.

However, Duterte’s approval rating is three percent lower than his score in the third quarter of 2016.

The survey, conducted from December 6 to 11, 2016, polled 1,200 respondents.

Meanwhile, Robredo received an approval rating of 62 percent while Pimentel got 55 percent.

Duterte’s 83 percent trust rating is three points lower than September’s 86 percent while Robredo’s 58 percent trust rating is seven points lower than the 65 percent she recorded in the third quarter last year.

Pimentel’s ratings also took a hit as his approval and trust scores slipped to 55 percent and 50 percent, respectively, down from his score of 61 percent and 55 percent in September.

On the other hand, Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez’s approval score remained at 43 percent while his trust rating went down by three points to 38 percent.

Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno’s trust and approval scores improved in December. She got an approval rating of 47 percent (up by a point from September) and trust rating of 13 percent (up three points from September).

Among key government institutions, the Senate enjoyed the highest approval rating with 58 percent, followed by the Supreme Court with 55 percent, up by four points from September and the House of Representatives, 51 percent.

The Senate got a 57 percent trust rating, the House of Representatives secured 51 percent, while the SC got 53 percent, up by three points in the previous survey.

The Pulse Asia survey, which was released on Monday, has a ± 3 percent error margin at the 95 percent confidence level. The margin of error for geographical areas is ± six percent.

The major issues that hounded the Duterte administration before and during the December survey include Robredo’s resignation from the Cabinet as chairperson of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council after the President instructed her to “desist from attending all Cabinet meetings.”

Duterte later accused Robredo of joining rallies against the administration but Robredo denied the allegations.
Protests also erupted across the country against the surprise burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

    1. Obviously, by far the only sincere president we’ve got in eliminating crime and corruption. Can’t imagine Robredo, Roxas or Binay doing what he dose best. You’ll end up with motherhood statements and scripted speeches with these people. Unlike DU30 you hear and get want people wants

      • we shall see. as long as his plans get through without those detractors plans, he just might. i have big hopes for the country that have long been sleeping because of his leadership.

    2. A short prayer..

Father God, I lift up to You our leaders. Those people whom you have anointed to bring change in our land the Philippines. I pray that they will serve the nation with full integrity of hearts. That they will always operate with purity of intentions, with godly motivations. That all the blessings, funds and resources You have and will pour out and provided will all be used for the purposes You have appointed it to be used. That there will be no room for corruption.

But If we, as fathers of our own homes and families know how to discipline our children, how much more You O God – whom all wisdom and righteousness comes from.

That any cents, misuse of funds, maltreatment of resources will have painful repercussions. Let Your presence be always in the hearts of our Leaders – like the supernatural building of Wall of Jerusalem. It is possible because Your might and favor is with Your people.

Bring back the love of God, the love of righteousness in the hearts of every Filipinos. That Godliness with contentment is a great gain. And what profit a man to get to own the whole world, and all the wealth in it, and be in position of power but loses his soul to eternal fire in hell.

But just like in the time of Nehemiah and the people who do the rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem, while our hands work, the other hand holds a weapon ready for battle.

We repent of all our sins.
We repent of all our ways that are not pleasing to You
We repent of being whiners, complainants, faithless, proud and yet insecure
We repent of being part of the problem – not the solution
We repent of tearing down – instead of building up
And all the things You have hated and abhor.. we repent..

And all our personal needs, for our children, families – We submit to You and You’ll take care of it!

Change our ways o God, give us heart of flesh – not heart of stone..Let there be a new beginning in our Land the Philippines. And let it start with us – individual.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says. And him who have heard heed Your call!

Claiming all for Your utmost glory, in Jesus most precious Name I pray! Amen!
