President Rodrigo Duterte maintained that arrests can be made even without warrants, refuting the statement of Chief Justice Lourdes Sereno that police officers cannot apprehend without warrants of arrest.
“Madame Chief Justice, you are again wrong when you said, ‘Do not allow yourself to be arrested without a warrant’,” the President said during the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Mindanao Command (EastMinCon) at the Naval Station Felix Apolinario in Davao City.
