Reelected Caloocan City Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan on Thursday said the electoral protest filed by his principal opponent over the city’s mayoralty post was useless.
Malapitan said former Mayor and outgoing Rep. Enrico “Recom” Echiverri’s complaint was an “exercise in futility” because he defeated the latter by 150,000 votes.
