(Easy and very simple tips for eco-friendly lifestyle; but enough to help conserve the treasures of nature.)
Reduce consumption of meat.
Why? In order to raise livestock, it is necessary to have pastures or produce forage (soy, corn, etc.), all of which requires a very large surface area carved at the expense of forests. In addition, it takes enormous amounts of water and pesticides to grow forage crops that exhaustion and pollution of free groundwater.
Also, when ruminants digest they produce vast quantities of methane, one of the most potent greenhouse gases, particularly when they are fed with protein crops such as soy.
Too much meat consumption can cause high blood pressure, cancer and diabetes, among others. Instead, try eating eggs, fruits and vegetables several times a week.
